America doesn't know good talent

Melinda, before tonight's vote

Tonight, Melinda Doolittle was sent home, which is a damn shame because she's a genuinely talented singer and definitely the most qualified out of the three singers left. Yes, Blake is good at beatboxing but he sounds like a 13 year old boy at a middle school talent show. He can't dance, either. A step up from Blake is Jordin, who is adorable and vocally talented, but she should probably finish High School before she pursues a career in the music industry. The truth of the matter is, at the end of the day, neither Blake nor Jordin compare to Melinda. Despite the fact that Melinda got voted off tonight, which is only because the teeny boppers control the Idol vote (much like the governement control the media), I know she will go on to do great things, and I look forward to the release of her first albumn.

Very well put in your blog post. American does NOT know talent. Or else...we've simply left voting on American Idol to a bunch of pre-pubescent numbskulls and giggly little girls that text their fingers off on the cell phones Mommy and Daddy pay for, voting for who's "cute."

I don't intend, after the travesty of THIS season, to ever watch American Idol again. It's a mere charade of what it was meant to be, and it now disgusts me.

If the most talented vocalist was supposed to win this "vocal performance competition," American...you failed miserably.
