P!nks Ends A Marriage, But Not A Friendship

I love P!nk, from her early days of singing "You Make Me Sick" and "Stupid Girls" to her touching open letter "Dear Mr. President" for George W. Bush. No matter what she's singing, she's always rocking out and having a good time.

P!nk has always had a plethora of lesbian fans. I remember my first P!nk concert in college, it was like lesbian heaven; I was surrounded by hot rocker chicks with nose rings and spiked hair, dancing half-naked and screaming P!nks name like porn stars in an orgy. It was HOT (and quite memorable too)!

The great thing about P!nk is that she's always been very open and accepting of all types of sexualities. She has stated on several occasions that she does not "like labels" when it comes to defining sexuality. In fact, she "believes we are all trisexuals". She has also admitted that she's had sexual relations with women in the past, and had a girlfriend when she was 14.

Despite her "trisexuality", Pink decided to take the heterosexual road and in 2005, proposed to motocross racer Carey Hart by doing his pit boarding and then asking him to marry her during one of his races in Mammoth Lakes, California by holding up a sign with "Will you marry me?" on it. After Hart read the sign, he almost caused an accident. They married in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006 at sunset.

Unfortunately, all good things (even good heterosexual things) must come to an end. Pink and Carey Hart have ended their marriage, as of Tuesday. The singer's publicist, Michele Schweitzer, confirmed the split, without giving any further details about the decision.

She told People.com: "Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger." She has urged her fans to go easy on her estranged husband after announcing the couple had split up. She also insists she still loves Hart very much, and that the sportsman remains her best friend.

She also posted the following blog on her website on February 20th, stating:
Hi everybody. I wanted to reach out personally to all my fans/friends out there in the world. First and foremost, thank-you for all of your support and love, it means a lot to me right now. The most important thing for you all to know, is that Carey and I love each other so so much. This break up is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliche bulls***, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be. All I know at this point, is that I want to make the best album I can, and Carey wants to do the best possible job he can with everything he has going on. He is a good man, so please support him as well. One never knows the future, but mine and Careys' just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now. Thanks for the concern and caring. X Miss P
I'm not sure what beach babies are, but they sound like a sweet prospect to me. Who knows what will happen for P!nks love life after this. Will she continue to date men or will she surprise us all and date a women? I think lesbians everywhere are crossing their fingers and holding their breath for a little P!nk on girl action, but whatever she does, I sincerely hope she is happy and continues making kickass music. Rock on, girl!
