Congrats to Rachel Maddow; Knock 'em Dead Tonight!

We at Lesbiatopia extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Rachel Maddow on the debut of her show tonight on MSNBC at 9pmET/6pmPT. Not only is Dr. Maddow the first lesbian to get her own TV news show—-in primetime, no less!-—she also is one of the most thoughtful and well informed pundits out there, gay or straight (which makes all of us lezzies proud).

Three cheers for Dr. Maddow, and for MSNBC for recognizing and promoting Dr. Maddow's enormous brain five nights a week. You hear that, LOGO? That's five nights a week of brilliant lesbian deliciousness--more thinking in tonight's first episode than Gimme Sugar featured in its whole first season! Thank you, MSNBC, for beaming a lesbian role model into homes nationwide when "our" own network wouldn't even give us one.

So gear up your TiVos, dear Lesbiatopia readers, and get ready for The Rachel Maddow Show. You'll be able to say you watched it from the beginning--before it became the enormously popular smash it's destined to be.

Remember also to catch Dr. Maddow's radio show weeknights on AirAmerica.

I have to say, she really looks femmed up! Lol, not! See, Rupert Murdock is trying to stir things up. I'll be watching this online.

Still, happy birthday to her grandmother, it's her ninety-third (she told us on Countdown).

For those of us who are not able to get MSNBC, Rachel Maddow's show IS available online. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/

Also, just to note, her bio does make mention of her partner, Susan Mikula.

So, go over and watch the clips, and I fervently hope that her entire show will be airing on MSNBC.com so that we can add to the ratings and keep her show going for a long, long time to come.

I loved what I could watch (MSNBC is still putting her site together.) I loved the segment she did on Countdown though. She responded to Sarah Palin's church's beleif that one could pray away homosexuality. I loved her response of how 'not praying enough is not the cause'.

My cable company is moving to all digital, so I have to have a box to get any channels, and I just haven't yet. But, hey, the net's paid for, and I can watch a lot of TV there :)

Yes and she asked some very valid questions about Sarah Palins views on the separation of church and state.

Does she really believe she is on a "Mission From God?"

Rachel Maddow rocks! And I don't give a damn if she's gay or straight.
