About The Site

I want to thank you for stopping by Lesbiatopia.com. Lesbiatopia.com is a group blog that was created with the hope that queer-identified women could write about anything and everything. We strive to offer you a unique and interesting array of topics, opinions, stories and points-of-view from queer women.

I also want to say Thank You to all the writers who have contributed to Lesbiatopia. This blog would not be what it is today without you and I really appreciate you contributing your time, energy and incredible words to the GLBTQI community.

Lesbiatopia's mission is to provide a place for expression and discussion for queer-identified women. One of things I envisioned for the site is the ability for queer-identified women from all backgrounds, ethnicities, political affiliations, gender-identities, race, color, religion, creed, hair color, body shape, socioeconomic background, age, education, etc to contribute to this blog. I want everyone to feel welcomed to write about and comment about any issue, at any time and know that their views and opinions are respected because they are your own and we are nobody without ourselves.

Any and all political, religious and personal views expressed by any author on Lesbiatopia.com do not necessarily reflect those of the website, as a whole, and anyone and everyone is always welcome to express their own views without fear of attack or judgment because we respect your right to have an opinion just as we hope you will respect ours.

Lesbiatopia's mission statement can be summed up
quite effectively with a quote from Voltaire:

"I may not agree with what you say,
but I'll defend to my death your right to say it."

I hope you will continue to read, comment on and believe in Lesbiatopia and continue to stand-up for your own rights and beliefs. Standing up for ourselves is what makes us all unique and individual in our own way, being members of the GLBTQI community is what brings us all together in the end.

Peace, love & lesbians,
Renee

I can personally vouch that each and every one of the writers of this site, I have met or known in some capacity. They are all real people and they are all who they say they are.
